Deposit policy

How deposits work

We place a pre-authorisation on your card at pickup. We do not take the money. We release the hold at return when the car is handed back in the same condition and fuel policy is met.

Cross early morning or late evening for shorter waits in high season.

Young drivers

Minimum age and licence

Minimum age is 21 with at least two years of full licence


Ages 21 to 24 pay a young driver fee from €7 per day


Drivers aged 75 or more need prior approval

EU and UK plastic photo licences are accepted.
If your licence is not in Latin script or you hold a paper licence, bring an International Driving Permit.
If you are unsure, send a photo of your licence on WhatsApp and we will confirm.

Fuel and mileage

Fuel policy

Same to same. Return the car with the same level you received. For airport pickups we aim for full to full. Keep your final fuel receipt in case we need to verify.

Daily allowance is 200 kilometres


Weekly allowance is 1,400 kilometres


Extra kilometres are charged at €0.20 each


Unlimited mileage is available on request and will show at checkout if offered for your dates

Petrol is Eurosuper 95 and 98. Diesel is Eurodiesel.

Check the label on the fuel cap and the key tag.

Do not mix fuels.

Misfuelling is not covered by basic insurance.

Keep your final fuel receipt until your deposit releases.

Winter tyres

Winter equipment

We fit winter tyres during the legal winter period in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is no extra charge. If the law or conditions require snow chains, we can provide them on request.

Winter rules apply during the official winter season and whenever conditions require them. Police may check your tyres and equipment during bad weather.

What do I need to rent a car in Mostar?

Can I rent a car in Mostar with a debit card?


Credit card is preferred. We may accept a debit card if you take zero-excess cover and meet our checks. Ask on WhatsApp and we will confirm for your dates and car class.

Do I need an International Driving Permit in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Most EU and UK licences are fine. If your licence is not in Latin script or you hold a paper licence, bring an IDP. If you are unsure, send a photo of your licence and we will confirm.

Can I drive to Dubrovnik or Split with a rental car from Mostar?


Yes. Croatia is included and we provide a Green Card. Add a one way return at booking if you plan to drop the car in Croatia. Motorways are tolled. Keep your ticket.

How does airport pickup work at Mostar Airport?

Add your flight number when you book. We track your flight and time the meeting to the live arrival. Our agent meets you at the terminal exit with your name board. If baggage takes longer, we stay at arrivals. No extra fee for airline delays.

What happens if my flight is delayed or diverted?


We track your flight and move your pickup to the new arrival time. If your flight number changes or the flight is moved to the next day, send us the new details and we will reschedule.

What happens in an accident?

Make sure everyone is safe. Call local police if there is any third-party damage or injury. Take photos. Call or WhatsApp us for help. A police report is needed for insurance in most cases.

What if I get a parking ticket or toll fine?


Pay at the nearest bank or online if instructions allow. If a fine arrives later, we will provide the authority with your contract details as required by law. An admin fee may apply.

Do you deliver cars to hotels or homes in Mostar?

Yes. Delivery and collection within city limits is free with most bookings. Choose delivery when you book or send us your address on WhatsApp.

Can I choose automatic or manual?


Yes. You will see transmission on every car page. Filter by automatic if that is your preference.

How clean are the cars?

We clean and sanitise all cars before each hire. We record tyre tread and fluids and we keep handover photos on file.

Can I smoke in the car?


No. Our fleet is smoke free. A cleaning charge applies if we detect smoke or strong odours.

Can I take the car on a ferry?

Some routes allow it. You must ask before booking. Ferry use without written approval is not permitted.

What is your cancellation policy?


Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Inside 48 hours, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

How do I get help on the road?

Call or WhatsApp us. You will also have roadside assistance numbers in your handover pack.

What are the speed limits in Bosnia and Herzegovina?


Urban areas: usually 50 km/h unless signed


Open roads: usually 80 km/h unless signed


Motorways: usually 130 km/h unless signed


Always follow road signs.

Police use mobile checks around towns and on approach to borders.

How do I add an extra driver after booking?


Send us the name and licence photo on WhatsApp. We will add the driver to your contract at pickup.

Do child seats meet EU standards?

Yes. We provide infant, child and booster seats that meet current standards. Add them during booking or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I extend my rental?


Yes, subject to availability. Message us before your return time so we can update the contract and avoid late fees.

What if I lose the key?

Call us immediately. Replacement or recovery costs are not covered by basic insurance. We will give you the nearest solution.
